Accommodation in this tour

In our programme, we offer a special and unique stay that allows you to better discover the place.

Travel scenario

The tour program may vary depending on the weather and the chosen camp. The following scenario approximates and may be adjusted to suit your preferences and current weather conditions.

Day 1. Cape Town - Antarctica.

Wolf Fang's Runway

Your journey will begin with a 5-hour flight from Cape Town to Antarctica on a comfortable passenger Airbus with business class service. During your flight, you will cross the Arctic Circle and find yourself in a world of uninterrupted daylight. After landing at Antarctica's only private runway, Wolf Fang, you'll arrive at one of two camps where you can sip cocktails with 10,000-year-old ice cubes or stroll around the oasis.

Day 2. Exploring the сamps

Echo camp, Antarctica

The range of options in camps surrounded by the white desert will surprise you, from relaxing massages, yoga, and gentle walks to thrilling adventures such as mountain and glacier exploration, Nunatak climbing, ice climbing, and abseiling! You'll be able to spend a day exploring the camp, hear stories from an experienced team of polar explorers, and learn little-known facts about Antarctica.

Day 3. Emperor penguins

Emperor penguins, Antarctica

Today, you can see a colony of emperor penguins. You'll take a 2.5-hour flight across Antarctica, enjoying the views of the nearby mountain ranges and coastline, and land in Atka Bay. Emperor penguins, the largest of all penguin species, reach a height of up to 150 cm and weigh between 22 and 45 kilograms. These birds are known for their ability to survive in the harshest environments on the planet, withstanding temperatures as low as -60 degrees Celsius. You can watch black and white divers jump into the icy waters for fish and krill, demonstrating incredible abilities. During your visit, it is important to follow the rules of interaction with wildlife established by IAATO and stay at least 5 meters away from penguins. This encounter will be one of the journey's highlights, giving you a unique opportunity to see these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 4. Exploration of Antarctica

Echo camp: Spend the day exploring the nearby mountains with a light hike overlooking the endless ice plain, followed by a champagne picnic and then, accompanied by your guide, journey through the snow and ice to an incredible viewpoint, offering a stunning panorama of the mountains you've just explored.

Camp Whichaway: Spend the day exploring the icy waves near the camp and the surreal ice tunnels. Travel with your guide through the snow and ice to the observation deck, which offers a magical view of the natural formations you've been observing.

Day 5. South Pole

South Pole

A trip to the South Pole is one of the main highlights of the tour! Early in the morning, you will take off on a Basler BT-67 flight, land at Dixie's Camp for refueling, and then continue to the South Pole. At exactly 90 degrees south latitude, you can walk around the Earth in just a few steps and marvel at the fact that there are no cardinal directions; the only direction is North! Reaching the South Pole is considered one of the greatest achievements of humankind. Even today, fewer than 500 people a year make it to this remote location.

You will have 3 hours for photography and the opportunity to stamp your passport before returning to Dixie's Camp to spend the night on the polar plateau, just as the early explorers did.

Day 6: Return to Camp

After spending the night in a warm tent and having breakfast, you will board a flight back to the camp. Upon your return, enjoy a champagne dinner to celebrate your achievements.

Day 7: Hiking

Hiking along the winding cliffs offers breathtaking views of the planet's last untouched corners. Qualified UIAGM guides will accompany you on this challenging route, ensuring your safety.

Day 8. Antarctica - Cape Town

Your flight from Antarctica will be your final vivid memory of the white continent.

Returning home from the serene continent, you'll carry photographs and souvenirs and a profound reverence for this pristine, rugged, and delicate world. You'll feel part of a mystery, one of the privileged few to witness the largest penguins, explore incredible ice tunnels, and visit the southernmost point on the planet, where all meridians intersect and time zones converge.

Make up your mind and make your dream come true – allow yourself to become a pioneer on the most distant continent on the planet. Scenario Travel will help you take this step by organizing an unforgettable trip to Antarctica.
