Jordan: The magic of deserts and ancient civilisations

Day 1. Welcome to Jordan

After arriving in the country, you will travel to the heart of the desert, where you will be accommodated in a luxurious camp reminiscent of a Martian colony, surrounded by the red sands of Wadi Rum. Spacious tents with transparent roofs reveal the endless starry sky, and during the day, you can admire the otherworldly landscapes from your private balcony. Oriental decor serves as a reminder that, despite the surreal surroundings, you are still on Earth. Each tent is decorated in warm desert tones — yellow, orange, and red — and equipped with modern amenities.

At night, the desert transforms into an open-air planetarium. Lying on soft cushions by your tent, you will see myriads of stars scattered across the sky. You can study the constellations and reflect on the eternal, feeling the noise of everyday life fade away as tranquillity sets in.

Day 2. Wadi Rum Desert

You'll start the day with an unforgettable adventure! Ascend in a hot air balloon and watch the sunrise over the Wadi Rum Desert. An expert guide will provide a briefing before explaining the natural and historical wonders of Wadi Rum. From a bird’s-eye view, you’ll see the majestic cliffs and endless dunes of the desert, poetically known as the "Valley of the Moon."

In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jeep ride across the sands of Wadi Rum. Your route will take you through breathtaking landscapes — monumental stone arches, rocky gorges, and red dunes. The desert has served as a backdrop for films such as “Prometheus,” “The Martian,” “The Last Days on Mars,” “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” “Dune,” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” The journey will conclude at one of the most scenic viewpoints, where you’ll witness an unforgettable sunset.

Day 3. Moving to Petra

After breakfast, you will be transferred to one of the wonders of the world — the ancient city of Petra. You will stay in a five-star hotel near the entrance to the site. The hotel, offering magnificent views of the cliffs, combines oriental charm with modern comfort. Its interiors feature natural stone, carved wood, and vibrant fabrics, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Here, you will find elegant rooms and suites, a variety of restaurants catering to all tastes, indulgent spa treatments, a refreshing outdoor pool, and a state-of-the-art gym.

In the afternoon, you will set off to explore Petra. As the crowds of tourists depart, the ancient city awakens in silence and magical light. The main attraction, Al-Khazneh, is bathed in the soft glow of countless candles, creating a mystical atmosphere.

The narrow gorges of the Siq Canyon, leading to Petra, appear especially enigmatic at dusk, while the stars overhead seem closer and brighter. A walk through the city at this time allows you to immerse yourself in its ancient spirit and admire the grandeur of its monumental facades without the usual hustle and bustle.

In the evening, enjoy a candlelit dinner surrounded by ancient ruins — a romantic conclusion to a captivating day.

Day 4. Rest at the Dead Sea

This morning, you will depart for Amman, but before that, you will stop on the shores of the Dead Sea.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the sea’s salty expanse. Then, take a dip in the mineral-rich waters, which allow effortless floating, and experience the renowned healing mud treatments known for their benefits to the skin and overall well-being.

After lunch, you will be transferred to Amman, where you will stay in one of the city’s most elegant hotels, offering magnificent views of the skyline.

Savour gourmet cuisine in restaurants that cater to both fine dining and more traditional tastes. The hotel features a luxurious spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and cooking classes and excursions.

Day 5. Amman — The end of the programme

Depending on your flight departure time, you may have some time to stroll through the centre of Amman, admire its modern architecture, and browse the local shops for souvenirs.

You will then be transferred to the airport, marking the end of the programme.
