Located along the Sand River in the southern part of the Maasai Mara Reserve, just under 2 km from the Tanzanian border, it offers stunning views of the Serengeti National Park. It's also one of the first camps in the region where guests can witness the legendary annual wildebeest migration from June to September.
The camp has 11 tents, including 2 family tents and 2 honeymoon suites. Each tent features a private plunge pool and en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. The cuisine is exceptionally refined and aligns with the camp’s philosophy, blending tradition with gourmet flavors.
This stunning manor, originally built as a private home in the 1930s, now offers 12 rooms and doubles as a sanctuary for six friendly Rothschild giraffes (one of the rarest in the world)! They extend their long necks through the large windows while guests enjoy breakfast or join them in the garden for afternoon tea. It’s a truly unique experience that the hotel prides itself on.

Sanctuary Olonana Safari Lodge
Situated along the Mara River, Sanctuary Olonana offers first-class suites with panoramic windows and breathtaking views. But it’s most renowned for its conservation philosophy and environmental programs.
The lodge reuses water for operational purposes and relies on solar energy. Its garden is not only a beautiful spot for breakfast and lunch but also a source for the ingredients used in its dishes.
Wildlife viewing at Sanctuary Olonana begins right on the lodge's grounds. A pod of hippos lives near the river, and many other animals visit the lodge for a drink.
Sirikoi
Built by Kenyan conservationists Willie and Sue Roberts, Sirikoi Lodge consists of a main house, cottages, and tents, creating the feeling of visiting friends. With a well-kept garden, personal photographs, and cozy evenings by the fire where guests can chat with the owners, it offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
The cozy cottages are filled with charming details, handmade rugs, and pieces of African art. Sirikoi grows most of its produce in an organic garden, which is then used to prepare simple, homestyle meals.
This location is rich in wildlife, from elephants, cheetahs, and wild dogs to the “Samburu Special Five” (five species unique to the region): Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich.
Sasaab, which welcomed travelers in 2007, features a design that blends Swahili culture with Moroccan influences. Each of the 11 canvas-walled rooms, measuring over 100 square meters, comes with its own plunge pool and stunning views of Mount Kenya's peaks.
Its location by the river allows guests to watch elephant herds coming to bathe, along with many other species.
Angama Amboseli
A cozy new lodge, Angama Amboseli opened in October 2023 in the heart of Kimana Sanctuary, known for its stunning nature and famous views of Mount Kilimanjaro. It has already gained popularity! Its location allows guests to observe wildlife from early morning until late evening, with the chance to spot the rare “big tusker” elephants.
The lodge offers 10 suites designed to provide breathtaking views from every corner. The interior design is a modern take on African style, incorporating traditional materials.
Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Meru
This luxurious safari lodge invites guests to explore the wild beauty of Meru National Park, known for its large populations of rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, and diverse birdlife. Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Meru was built near the site where conservationist George Adamson set up camp—the "Father of Lions" who famously raised a lioness named Elsa and later released her into the wild. The lodge was named in her honor.
