A premium safari camp in the Mara Triangle that offers the chance to witness the Great Migration!
Angama Safari Camp is located within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, allowing guests to enjoy safaris without the need to return to lodges outside the park. You can visit the camp at any time — whether for a snack, a quick rest, or a change of outfit.
The camp features 4 tents, accommodating up to 8 guests. Each tent is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including en-suite bathrooms. Guests also have access to a dedicated team consisting of a camp manager, butler, chef, security personnel, two guides, and two safari vehicles. The camp is accessible via scheduled flights or private charters.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Angama Safari Camp is its mobility! The team can completely dismantle the camp — which looks like it took months to set up — and pack everything into a lorry known as "Big Bertha." Despite this portability, guests will be impressed by the attention to details, from sports equipment to a small library of books.
During the migration season (July to October), guests can be the first to reach the best viewing points and stay later than others, thanks to the camp’s prime location. This is a significant advantage, as wildlife is most active at dawn and after sunset.
The Angama Safari Camp team tailors each day to the guests’ preferences — whether you want to observe nature from your tent, embark on a full-day safari with a picnic in the wild, or relax by the campfire sharing stories.
During peak season, tents can be booked individually. At other times, the camp is available exclusively for private use, with a minimum stay of two nights. Children of all ages are welcome at Angama Safari Camp.
