Opened in 2001 as the Zambezi Sun, the hotel is now known as the Avani Victoria Falls Resort. It sits next to its sister property, the 5-star Royal Livingstone Hotel. A shuttle service runs between the two hotels throughout the day. Avani Victoria Falls Resort features 212 rooms and suites, all designed with traditional African charm and warm Zambian flair. Guests can choose between views of the pool or garden. Ground-floor rooms offer sliding doors that open directly onto the grounds, while second-floor rooms feature balconies.
The resort offers a swimming pool, gym, and spa located at the partner hotel, The Anantara Royal Livingstone.
On-site, there are several restaurants and bars, as well as options for off-site dining and breakfast experiences.
