The best season to visit Cape Town and the Garden Route is from August (when whales appear) until the end of March. Comfortable temperatures and strong winds are typical between April and May.

‍Durban's climate is warm, humid, and muggy from mid-December to late April, with a balmy and partly cloudy winter following.

The hot and rainy months are between November and February in Kruger Park. The most favourable time for a safari in South Africa is February to November. This is when the rainy season ends, and the land becomes dry and leafless, perfect for observing wildlife
